Over time, balconies can deteriorate to varying degrees, e.g. due to condensation damage in the facade’s supporting iron structures, and repair or total replacement may be necessary. The modification detail shows one of the in-situ methods that can be used for replacing a balcony, although prefabricated balcony solutions are also an option.
