Gable anchors

Exterior walls are connected to joists in the storey partitions with wall anchors.

In the case of iron joists, iron ties in the facade are bolted to the body of the I-beam, while anchoring at the gables is carried out as shown in the figure to the right.

Wall anchors are predominantly enclosed and are thus invisible.

Increased attention over time to the rustproofing of gable anchors has resulted in a reduced need to replace them as often, but in the event of a repair, the scope of this will be similar to that carried out in earlier buildings (see example).
