Gambrel roof

Gambrel roofs predominantly use pantiles as a roof covering. There is a current requirement that a subroof solution be chosen when replacing a roof covering. The figure shows a solution using a fixed subroof, which is the safest and most durable. Also shown are the principles for correctly fitting insulation and ventilation to the roof.
